“…The FT-IR spectra obtained in this study show agreement with the previously reported results (Ai et al, 2010;Ayad et al, 2013;Najim and Salim, 2014;Ren et al, 2014;Wang et al, 2014a;Yang et al, 2014). For the PANNPs, the characteristic bands of the benzenoid and quinoid units appeared at 1,490 and 1,573 cm PANNRs, nearly similar peaks were noticed with slight vibrations except for the peak at 1,143 cm −1 which was diminished.…”

“…The XRD pattern of PANNPs shows two peaks: one centered at 2θ=19.4° and the other at 25.4°. The peaks at 2θ=19.4° could be ascribed to a periodicity parallel to the PANI polymer chain; whereas, the peak at 2θ=25.4° could be ascribed to a periodicity perpendicular to the PANI chain (Ai et al, 2010;Ayad et al, 2013;Ren et al, 2014). The XRD pattern of PANNRs is very similar to that of PANNPs, but the two peak locations were slightly shifted to 2θ=18.7°, and 25.9°, respectively.…”
