Factorial Design Evaluation of Some Experimental Factors for Phenols Oxidation using Crude Extracts from Jackfruit (Artocarpus integrifolia)

Show more

“…A comparison of XRD patterns of Ni/C 60 with C 60 indicates that crystal structure of fullerene can be changed during the calcined catalyst. The XRD pattern of C 60 containing nickel (II) complex (curve c in Figure 3) is similar to pure C 60 . This means that the crystallinity and morphology of C 60 was preserved during the functionalized method.…”

“…Some advantages of using a factorial design are based on the fact that averages are more stable comparing to the single observations, more average data, more reliable results will be obtained. [59][60][61] Synthesis and characterization of nickel (II) complex containing Schiffbase ligand; N,N-bis(4-hydroxysalicylidene)-ethylene-1,2-diamine and functionalized fullerene (Scheme 1) is reported in this paper. This complex can be used as a raw material for the preparation of nickel catalyst for hydrogenation reaction or can be used directly as a catalyst.…”

“…Some advantages of using a factorial design are based on the fact that averages are more stable than single observations and the more data one averages, the more reliable results are obtained. Many studies have been made on factorial design experiments applied to polymer synthesis and characterization in order to reveal the effect of interaction of process variables and to improve the optimization process [11][12][13][14][15].…”
