Factors Affecting the Metabolizable Energy Content of Rapeseed Meals

Abstract: Seven samples of rapeseed meal were utilized to study the factors associated with variation in metabolizable energy content. Nutritional factors related to metabolizable energy were determined in each sample (crude protein, crude fiber, ether extract, sugar, starch, and available carbohydrates).
