Faddeev–Yakubovsky calculations for light ΛΛ hypernuclei

Abstract: New Faddeev-Yakubovsky calculations are reported for 6 ΛΛ He and 10 ΛΛ Be in terms of clusters of α's and Λ's, using ΛΛ s-wave potentials motivated by several of the Nijmegen model interactions. The self consistency of the ΛΛ hypernuclear world data for these species is discussed. The newly reported 6 ΛΛ He event is found to be compatible with ΛΛ interaction strengths provided by the Nijmegen soft-core one-boson-exchange model NSC97. Faddeev calculations for 5 ΛΛ H and 5 ΛΛ He suggest that these ΛΛ hypernuclei… Show more

“…We conclude that ΛΛ interactions with 1/a 0 ≤ −0.8 fm −1 and r eff ≥ 3 fm are favored by the recent ΛΛ correlation preliminary data in high-energy heavy-ion collisions at RHIC by STAR collaboration [28]. These results are consistent with the analysis of the Nagara event, which is based on NSC97 interactions [19,20]. A more recent Nijmegen interaction, ESC08 [29], has a similar scattering parameters to fss2, and it is also in the above mentioned range.…”

“…For more details please refer [21], where the shaded band represents the systematic error and the other filled points are fit to STAR data from K. Morita, T. Furumoto and A. Ohnishi [26]. Also, the Λ − Λ interaction parameters which reproduce the NAGARA event are shown as astrisk [27,28]. The interaction parameters from pp,pp, pn singlet (s) and triplet (t) states, and from nn, pΛ (s) and pΛ (t) states are shown as open markers [29,30].…”
