Failure Analysis of Stepladders Manufactured From Extruded Aluminum

Abstract: Despite advances in materials and manufacturing techniques for extruded aluminum and fiberglass reinforced composite structures, accidents involving ladders cause an estimated 300 deaths and 130,000 injuries annually.
