“…One implication of these findings is the opportunity to leverage favourable parent and guardian perceptions and to partner with faith-based entities to strengthen PYD supports for adolescent girls. Faith-based programs centred on PYD principles can connect youth to caring adults, structured activities and prosocial outcomes that promote positive development and overall health (Pinckney, Clanton, Garst, & Powell, 2020 (Sexuality Information & Education Council, 2019).
