Background: Delivery assistance by health personnel in North Buton Regency in 2022 is still very low, namely 89.7% and deliveries in non-health facilities at 10.3%. At the Bonegunu Health Center, the coverage of deliveries in health facilities was 61.4%, and deliveries in non-health facilities were as much as 38.6%. The low coverage of deliveries in health facilities is influenced by several factors. Purpose: To analyze the factors related to the choice of place of delivery in North Buton Regency. Methods: This study used a cross-sectional study design with a total sample of 127 respondents. The research sample was taken by using total sampling technique. The research data were analyzed using multiple logistic regression tests. Results: test of the relationship between access and the choice of place of delivery obtained values (p = 0.000), socio-cultural (p = 0.002), family support (p = 0.010), knowledge (p = 0.028), and income (p = 0.000). Conclusion: access, socio-culture, familu support, knowledge, and income are related to the choice of place of delivery in the coastal community in the working area of the Bonegunu Health Center

Delivery assistance by health workers is a strategy to deal with maternal and child health problems in Indonesia. The ability and skills of birth attendants greatly affect the occurrence of maternal and infant mortality. This study aims to determine the differences in the delivery services of midwives and shamans from the patient's point of view in the Dadapan hamlet of Andongsari Health Center in 2022. This research design uses a qualitative approach and includes a comparative study research. The sample in this study as many as 16 respondents by using snowball sampling technique. From the results of the study, it was found that patients prefer delivery at midwives because the quality aspects offered by midwives are superior, ranging from assurance, responsiveness, empathy to physical evidence. This aspect is created from the education and experience gained by midwives when they were in college and the practical experience that has been carried out. From the patient's point of view, ease of access is superior to shamans, because there are more dukuns than midwives. In this study, patients who were interviewed had closer access to traditional healers than midwives.

Utilization of delivery assistance by professional staff (midwives) in the community is very low compared to the expected indicators. The behavior of pregnant women in planning for the selection of delivery assistance is influenced by various factors. This study aims to determine the factors associated with the selection of birth attendants. The type of research used is quantitative with a cross-sectional research design. The number of samples taken was 42 people with the Consecutive Sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire. The data obtained was then analyzed with the Chi Square test. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between education and the selection of birth attendants (p value = 0.005). In addition, there is a significant relationship between parity and age and the selection of birth attendants (p value = 0.033 and p value = 0.025). Therefore, it is hoped that health workers can provide counseling related to the selection of birth attendants so that they can improve the health status of mothers and babies.
