Abstract: Surveillance fatigue (fatigatio vigilantiae) during epidemicsThis manuscript presents the concept of "surveillance fatigue" (fatigatio vigilantiae), to describe an epidemiological scenario of an evident underreporting of cases during overwhelming epidemics.
