Abstract:The article describes the common features and specifi cs of the practice of formation of universal competences in foreign systems of professional education. The authors present the evolution of the methodological tools from the methods of case study, projects, gaming technology, to the development and assessment of generic competences through social networks, based on simulations by means of virtual technologies; by means of augmented and mixed reality.
