Filter technique of medical image on multiple morphological gradient (MMG) method

Abstract: Filter technique is supportive for reducing image noise. This paper presents a study on filtering medical images, i.e., CT-Scan, Chest X-ray and Panoramic X-ray collected from two of the most prominent public hospitals in Padang City, Indonesia. The aim of this study preserved to facilitate in diagnosing objects in x-ray medical images. This study used filter technique, i.e. Blur, Emboss, Gaussian, Laplacian, Roberts, Sharpen, or Sobel techniques as pre-processing step. The filter process performed before edge… Show more

“…Among the various edge detection algorithms available, the concepts of gradient orientation and the direction templates are mostly applied in medical imaging. Sobel operators performs the gradient calculation in the horizontal and vertical directions [23]. The identification of the edges in the other directions are performed as a result of the extension of the direction templates to other directions.…”

“…Subsequently, the ordinary outlier suppression approach placed on the Gaussian filtering and Wiener filtering [17] been examined its effectiveness by changeable kernel dimension in 2019. Later, the outlier suppression approach placed on filter approach [18] been examined its effectiveness on medical illustrations in 2019. Charmouti et al [19] revises tremendous outlier suppression approaches placed on different ordinary approaches and relatively reexamines this effectiveness on outlier suppression point of view in 2019.…”

“…Later, an irregularity reduction algorithm built on the Gaussian filtering and Wiener filtering [17] was studied its achievement by adjusting kernel dimension in 2019. Next, an irregularity reduction algorithm [18] built on filter scheme with MMG technique been formulated for engaging on medical digital depictions in 2019. Charmouti et al [19] studies enormous irregularity reduction algorithm built on various schemes and comparatively simulates these achievements on irregularity reduction perspective in 2019.…”
