Finite element formulations for transient dynamic analysis in structural systems with viscoelastic treatments containing fractional derivative models

Abstract: This paper presents finite element formulations for transient dynamic analysis in structural systems with damping treatments in which viscoelastic materials are characterized by means of fractional derivative models.
