Finite-time stability of multi-agent system in disturbed environment

Abstract: Finite-time stability problem of multi-agent system in disturbed environment is a question with practical significance. In this paper, a multi-agent system moving with obstacle avoidance is studied. The multi-agent system is expected to form a desired formation in finite time. Finite-time control law for continuous multi-agent system is proposed, which ensures that all the agents can pass the obstacles on their way, and the relative position between two agents reaches a constant value in finite time. Based on … Show more

“…It has been applied in mobile robotics, entertainment industries, and even injury treatment3132, where each of them is derived from enhanced computer graphics that often uses multi-agent systems33. This is due to the degree of immersion it provides, which is a key factor in any form of simulation.…”

“…The field of visualisation is stepping into a new era of development, with emerging hardware support by large corporations due to the realisation of a promising future associated with this technology. “…Also there are few guarantees about the convergence and consistency of learning algorithms [3, 5, 6]. This is so because in the multiagent case the environment state transitions and rewards are affected by the joint action of all the agents.…”

“…This is so because in the multiagent case the environment state transitions and rewards are affected by the joint action of all the agents. Thus, the value of an agent’s action depends also on the actions of the others and hence each agent must keep track of each of the other learning agents, possibly resulting in an ever-moving target [3, 5, 6]. In general, learning in the presence of other agents requires a delicate trade-off between the stability and adaptive behavior of each agent [3, 5, 6].…”

“…Finite-time synchronization or finite-time control is interesting topic for its practical application. There are some results on finite-time stability [22][23][24][25][26], finite-time synchronization [27][28][29][30][31][32][33], finite-time consensus or agreement [34][35][36][37], and finite-time observers [38]. However, these results are obtained for regular systems.…”
