“…This finding may be due to a widely spaced double-purse string, allowing convolution of the mucosa in between, laxity of the purse string at the time of staple firing, or disruption of the staple line. [2] Raymond et al [7] have reported the presence of submucosal cysts after single-purse string stapled hemorrhoidopexy. They surmised that the cyst occurred as a result of the hemostatic stitch; although they recognize that it may have been due to the trapping of a mucosal fold.…”

“…Nach Einführung der Klammernahthämorrhoidopexie (zunächst auch erst einmal Klammernahthämorrhoidektomie genannt) wurde relativ schnell über schwerwiegende Komplikationen [22] berichtet, im weiteren Verlauf kamen dann auch Publikationen über Langzeitkomplikationen und Reoperationen nach Stapler-Operationen wegen Hämorrhoidalprolaps hinzu. Manche Komplikationen sind z. T. anwenderbedingt (zu tief oder zu hoch gesetzte Klammernaht, Muscularis propria mit der Tabaksbeutelnaht hineingezogen und dann Perforation oder Blutung retroperitoneal) z. T. auch indikationsbedingt (Rektumprolaps statt Hämorrhoidalprolaps operiert [24,25] [27,28]. Auch lokal-septische Komplikationen können auftreten bis hin zur Fournier-Gangrän [22,26].…”
