The Rotational Structure of the (7, 4) and (7, 2) Bands of the A2Πu–X2Σg+ System of N2+ Studied by Velocity Modulation Laser Spectroscopy

“…The (8, 3), (7,3), and (6, 3) bands have been analyzed by Lindgren et al (2), Radunsky and Saykally (3), and Bachir et al (4), respectively. The (6, 1), (13,6) (5), (12,6) (6), (15,8) (7), (9,4), (11,5) (8), (2, 0), (3, 1), (4, 2), (7,4), and (8, 5) (9) bands have also been studied by many spectroscopists. This note reports an experimental investigation on the (7, 4) and (7, 2) bands of the A 2 u -X 2 + g system of N + 2 and the rotational analysis of the observed absorption spectra of these two bands.…”
