“…BVG belongs to the tentative genus Polerovirus in the family Luteoviridae ; the virus was first reported on barley in South Korea ( 8 ). To determine the infection rate of BVG, total RNA was extracted from all 81 collected samples (2015, n = 60; 2016, n = 21) and tested by reverse transcription-PCR (RT-PCR) with BVG-specific primers ( 9 ).
