First report of <i>Megophrys pachyproctus</i> Huang, 1981 (Anura: Megophyridae) from Talle Valley Wildlife Sanctuary, Arunachal Pradesh, India

Abstract: The endemic Asian megophryid genus Megophrys is represented by a total of 77 species of which 14 are reported to occur in India. Due to its close proximity to China, Arunachal Pradesh- the easternmost state of India- is believed to harbor many species of amphibians endemic to China.
