First report of monomicrobial Candida parapsilosis necrotizing fasciitis

Abstract: Candida parapsilosis is an emerging pathogen worldwide. It commonly causes soft tissue infection; however, to our knowledge there has been no previous report of monomicrobial necrotizing soft tissue infection (NSTI) secondary to C. parapsilosis.
