Flat Limited Scanning Phased Array Antenna for DBS Reception

Abstract: A flat limited scanning phased array antenna working at 12.2-12.7GHz and suitable for DBS satellite reception is presented. The antenna utilizes a patented phase control device that makes its architecture smart and suitable for commercial applications. Antenna architecture as well as steering principle and polarization control are described and discussed. Measured patterns of the antenna are presented as well as field experiments.
