“…The constitutive relation of aluminum alloy, initially proposed by (Ramberg and Osgood, 1939) and (Steinhardt, 1971), laid the groundwork for exploring the behavior of AAG joints. Bending tests of AAG joints at room temperature conducted by (Guo et al, 2015a; 2015b) and (Liu et al, 2019a) provided valuable insights, identifying failure patterns such as member rupture, local buckling, and block tearing of gusset plates. Building upon experimental findings, (Guo et al, 2016) employed finite element (FE) analysis and theoretical derivation to estimate the bearing capacity of AAG joints.…”

“…Shi et al [169] conducted experiments on two-way AAG joints subjected to pure bending and shear loading and they proposed a theoretical model able to accurately capture the mechanical behaviour of these joint systems. Liu et al [170] determined experimentally the flexural behaviour of double-and single-layer AAG joints. Comparisons between the two types of the investigated joints demonstrated the superior structural response of the former.…”

“…In 2018, Guo and others [15,16] studied the failure modes of aluminum alloy joint plates at high temperatures and proposed theoretical formulas that can estimate the bearing capacity and bending stiffness of AAG joints at 300 • C. Since 2019, most domestic researchers have focused on aluminum alloy joints. Liu [17][18][19] proposed a high-temperature reduction factor for the ultimate bearing capacity of Al alloy joints. They combined numerical simulations with experiments to propose an effective method for predicting crack locations.…”
