Abstract:Two new Naphthalimide based dipodal receptors K1 and K2 has been synthesized and selectively formed upon complexation with cobalt ion. Further, these cobalt complexes (K1.Co 2 + and K2.Co 2 + ) were fabricated to nanoaggregate in aqueous medium. The stability of these nanoaggregates was established with DLS, TEM, AFM and emission spectroscopy. The nanoaggregates N1-N2 were utilized to selectively sensing of diethylcyanophosphonate in aqueous medium. The nanoaggre-gate N1 and N2 exhibit 2 fold enhancement in th… Show more
“…Raj et al designed and synthesized two Co 2+ -naphthalimide-based fluorescent probes, K1ÁCo 2+ (122) and K2ÁCo 2+ (123). 139 Both K1ÁCo 2+ and K2ÁCo 2+ exhibited a 2-fold fluorescence enhancement upon contact with DECP, and K1ÁCo 2+ had an LOD for DECP of 21 nM. More recently, this group reported a series of dimethyltin(IV) compounds (124)(125)(126)(127) for DCP detection.…”
