Abstract:The fluorescence quantum yield of the 5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin, 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-OH-phenyl)porphyrin, 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-Cl-phenyl)porphyrin, 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-NH-phenyl)porphyrin and their complexes with Zn have been determined and the kinetic rate constants of the porphyrins ligands complexation with Zn in acetonitrile have been estimated. It was shown that the substituents on the tetrapyrrolic macrocycle periphery have a strong influence on the fluorescent and coordination properties of the invest… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
