“…In both study groups, at the beginning of the rewarming process and up to 31 °C body temperature, no significant changes in the various physiological parameters were recorded (there was only a slight transient decrease of the MAP in the fast rewarming group). The explanation for these findings is a result of the swift transitional state between vasoconstriction and vasodilatation found to occur during rewarming (37).
