The purpose of the article is to present the results of analysis of newly industrialized countries in the context of sustainable development. The study took place within the framework of the Kaldor’s structural-economic model of the gross domestic product and the energy flow model, using the socio-economic systems power changes analyzing method. Within the context of the approach, an invariant coordinate system in energy units is considered, the necessary conditions for sustainable development are formulated, and the main parameters for assessing the potential for growth and development are determined. The article focuses on key issues regarding new concepts of sustainable development and methodology for assessing sustainable development using the concept of socioeconomics useful power for the countries of the newly industrialized economy a group of emerging countries that have made in short time period a qualitative transition in socio-economic development. Based on a new definition of sustainable development in energy units, development trends are formulated for the selected countries during 20 years for the period 2000–2019. Results of the study can be used to planning for the transition to sustainable development. The data of the Central Statistical Office of European Union, the World Bank and the United Nations Organization were used for calculations. Initial interpretation of the calculated data has been done for the largest newly industrialized countries Brazil, India and China in terms of the gross domestic product in the period 1990–2019. For comparison, data on USA are presented as countries with advanced economy.

Due to various external factors such as the economic crisis and the depletion of easily accessible hydrocarbons, oil and gas companies are facing the challenge of developing hard-to-recover reserves. As a result, these companies need to reevaluate their tools and approaches to intra-company planning. This article explores the enhancement of intra-company planning by adjusting traditional methodological tools in response to the industry-specific nature of oil and gas enterprises. The authors focus on the balanced scorecard method and identify its limitations in the classical model. They propose adjustments by introducing additional key performance indicators to improve the system of intra-company planning. An algorithm for optimizing intra-company planning in oil and gas companies is developed, integrating the balanced scorecard approach. To validate the effectiveness of these recommendations, the authors analyze the degree of achievement of target performance indicators for activity planning efficiency in one oil and gas company. The results of the study are confirmed through forecasting methods, demonstrating that the implemented measures lead to long-term improvements in enterprise efficiency and overall management decision-making. It is worth noting that these recommendations can be applied to numerous industrial sector enterprises in the Russian Federation.

Aim. To find and argue points of growth of additive manufacturing, as well as to justify the relevance and significance of new business models using digital platforms.Tasks. To consider the features of management of digital additive manufacturing; to analyze the reasons for the low rate of additive technology development; to show the prospects of digital development of additive manufacturing; to justify the importance of digital platforms for additive services as a new business model and prove that digital additive manufacturing can be characterized as a system innovation.Methods. General scientific methods (analysis, synthesis, monographic, grouping) were used in the research. The best Russian and world practices, fundamental and applied works of national and foreign researchers, scientists, practitioners in the field of management, digital transformation were studied using the search of relevant research in open sources, both in general purpose search engines, and in specialized search engines and databases.Results. It is proved that digital additive manufacturing should be regarded as a system innovation, and its large-scale benefits can be realized if the technology is complemented by various innovations in products, processes and services. From the author's point of view, the potential and prospects of a new business model in the online market of additive design and manufacturing are obvious: a digital platform of additive services for manufacturing parts from various materials.Conclusions. Additive manufacturing plays a vital role in Industry 4.0 because of the shortened cycle time of the lean process and the high degree of decentralization of production processes. Therefore, a systematic approach using digital platforms is required to unlock their capabilities. Customers who require parts produced using this technology can place their designs on a platform and find a manufacturing partner based on available technical resources, geographic location, and the amount of anticipated cost. Implementing a digital platform design strategy that integrates all stages of the design and production process for different products, facilitates data traceability and product reproducibility on different additive manufacturing machines, greatly increases customer value.
