Abstract:Rosella petals (Hibiscus sabdariffa) have antioxidant activity from anthocyanins, which are part of the flavonoids that produce the red color of the petals. Rosella petal extract can be made into chewable tablets for consumption. The purpose of this study was to produce chewable tablets of rosella petal extract using gum arabic as a binder.
