Fostering coping and nurturing hope when discussing the future with terminally ill cancer patients and their caregivers

Abstract: BACKGROUNDIt is challenging for clinicians to foster coping and allow hope when discussing prognosis and end‐of‐life (EOL) issues with terminally ill cancer patients and their caregivers.
