From Forest Biomass to Carbon Trading

Abstract: The role of forest biomass is now greater due to its ability to cope with global warming. Facts prove that forest cover decreases have caused climate change and various disasters such as flood, landslide, drought, extreme weather, and others. Efforts to address climate change have been made by the international community through greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction programs with avoided deforestation and forest degradation through the afforestation/reforestation clean development mechanism (A/R CDM), reduci… Show more

“…Classical assumption tests provide reassurance that regression equations obtained have accuracy in unusual and consistent estimation. Classical assumption tests include normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and heteroskedasticity tests [42,43]. The normality test is used to determine the distribution of confounding or residual factors [38].…”

“…The Simultaneous Significance Test (F-test) aims to determine whether the independent variables together have a significant effect on the dependent variable (Mardiatmoko, 2020). The decision-making criteria are: If the F value is calculated < F table and the significance level (α)< 0.05, then H0 is rejected.…”

“…A partial test (t-test) is used to determine whether the regression model of the independent variable partially has a significant effect on the dependent variable (Mardiatmoko, 2020). The decision-making criterion is that if t-counts > t-table, then Ho is rejected.…”

“…The REDD+ program is known for leakage, additionality and uncertainity. In REDD+ activities, forest land which is designated as the location for REDD+ implementation according to the stipulated time period must be able to prevent leakage from occurring [28]. Here it is necessary to take intensive care for the location of the implementation of REDDD + so that there is no leakage originating from the work area and the surrounding area.…”
