From the History of the Department of the Russian Language and Speech Culture, NArFU (to the 90th Anniversary of Higher Teacher Education in Arkhangelsk)

Abstract

This article dwells on the history of and current situation at the Department of the Russian Language and Speech Culture of Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (NArFU), as well as on teachers who have made a significant contribution to its formation and development. The main stages in the department’s history and its achievements are described; its work in key areas – pedagogical, research, and international – is covered.
