Fronteiras coletivas e repertórios étnorraciais no Brasil contemporâneo

Abstract: The article argues that ethnic policy in Brazil has changed in such a way as to adopt more assertive concepts of group belonging. Analysing affirmative action in favour of Black people in contemporary Brazil, the article discusses three differentiated repertoires with implications for the construction of collective boundaries of an ethnoracial nature, which the author calls dilution, negotiation and salience.
