Fuzzy Logic Controller Based Perturb and Observe Maximum Power Point Tracking

Abstract: Abstract. This paper presents a fuzzy logic controller (FLC)based technique to design an adaptive perturb and observe (P&O) maximum power point tracking (MPPT) controller. The objective is to improve the efficiency of a standalone solar energy system consisting of a photovoltaic (PV) panel and a DC/DC buck converter connected to a variable load.
