“…It is worth mentioning that the 10,000 Ga/Al ratios (1.28-1.72) are less than those of typical A-type granites (N2.6; Whalen et al, 1987), although high Ga/Al values appear to be particularly diagnostic of A-type granites (Whalen et al, 1987), perhaps because such A-type granites may have undergone simple rather than extensive fractional crystallization. If extensive fractional crystallization occurred, there would be higher levels of Ga in highly evolved granites (Eby, 1992;He et al, 2010).
