“…Some of these parameters may vary in humans depending on ethnicity (17). These differences are seen more markedly among dog breeds, which have very different body structures from one to another (18). Determination of some parameters belonging to the proximal femur and acetabulum for healthy SKDs will generate data for hip morphology on the breed and provide an opportunity for more sensitive treatment planning, especially for total hip replacement, and better outcome of different hip pathologies.…”
