Geomorphological Study of Sulaymaniyah Vicinity Using Satellite Images, Kurdistan Region, Iraq

Abstract: Visual interpretation of satellite images is a very significant technique to recognize and interpret geomorphological features. We have used Esri World Imagery and Google Earth images to recognize geomorphological features at Pira Magroon, Surdash, and Azmar anticlines in Sulaymaniyah vicinity, Kurdistan Region, north of Iraq.
