Gerenciamento de estoques em ambiente hospitalar: estudo de caso em um ambulatório público infantil

Abstract

As instituições de saúde, em geral, devem contar com uma excelente logística, especialmente de estoques e de custos, a fim de continuarem atuando num mercado que vem-se revelando cada vez mais competitivo. É também indispensável buscar a melhoria do nível de atendimento aos clientes. Portanto, torna-se imprescindível um gestor com excepcional proficuidade para a dificílima incumbência de conciliar alvos que se contrapõem: reduzir custos com estoques e, simultaneamente, manter um nível satisfatório de atendimento aos pacientes. Nesse contexto, a finalidade primordial no atual trabalho foi investigar a técnica de gerenciamento de estoques adotada na farmácia de um ambulatório público infantil, com o intuito de apresentar sugestões e recomendações para otimização da logística.
