This work is part of the management of environmental resources in education thematic. We aim to identify effective practices to promote sustainable environmental actions through educational management. The methodological path follows a literary review of the state of the art on sustainable actions for educational management in the light of the documental contribution of the 2030 Agenda which, the leave no one behind proposal, aims to evolve in the search for global engagement for a sustainable, socially inclusive economic development and environmentally sustainable. For this study, we are interested in the fourth objective, Quality Education, of the mentioned Agenda, which aims to ensure quality, inclusive and equitable education, and to promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. We align with Goal 4.7, which aims until 2030, to ensure that all students acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to promote sustainable development. The results point to feasible and necessary practices to be carried out in educational institutions, as well as actions to be encouraged by the institutions to be undertaken by students in their daily lives. The practices presented are in line with the goals for sustainable development set out in the 2030 Agenda. We conclude by the need to address the issue in academic and school curricula environmental educations, so sustainable economically practices can evolve within and outside educational institutions.
