Abstract:Affecting young women, lactating adenoma is a rare benign tumor of the breast. It is seen mainly in the third trimester of pregnancy and in the postpartum period. Clinically, it is a solid mass, mobile typically benign but its character of rapid evolution is reminiscent of phyllodes tumors, sarcomas and galactoceles. The definitive diagnosis is histological.
