“…The challenge surrounding this lack of mathematical exposure cannot be overstated, particularly in the context of a student cohort who are academically disadvantaged (Winchester, Klein, & Sinnayah, 2021) and often experience low numeracy (Downie, Klein, & Sinnayah, 2019).
