Global Research on Syndromic Surveillance from 1993 to 2017: Bibliometric Analysis and Visualization

Abstract: Syndromic Surveillance aims at analyzing medical data to detect clusters of illness or forecast disease outbreaks. Although the research in this field is flourishing in terms of publications, an insight of the global research output has been overlooked.
