“…Furthermore, the diffraction pattern confirmed the appearance of the GO-Fe3O4 composite. These results appropriate with the research [20], where the characteristic peak of the GO-Fe3O4 composite can be found at the angle of 26°. FTIR instrument Characterization used to confirm the binding or type of molecular functional groups present in GO and GO-Fe3O4 composites.…”

“…The sample was ground, and sieved to obtain a powder with a particle size of 75 μm using a 200 mesh siever. Then, the sample was washed with 40% hydrofluoric acid (HF) to remove the impurity compounds [ 33 , 34 ], and stirred with the sample to acid ratio of1:3 while maintained at 45 °C for 3 h. Then, the solution was washed with deionized water and NaOH until reaching pH of 6–7 and was dried in an oven at 110 °C for 12 h. The obtained graphite powder was characterized by XRD to obtain the phase composition of the sample.…”

“…Moreover, the average size of Mal-NPs was approximately 10 nm, while Ct-NPs was about 230 nm (Figure S1). Figure c shows the XRD patterns, confirming the stable crystalline structure of Fe 3 O 4 . Notably, the half peak width of the Mal-NPs was significantly broader compared to the Ct-NPs.…”

“…Figure 1c shows the XRD patterns, confirming the stable crystalline structure of Fe 3 O 4 . 41 Notably, the half peak width of the Mal-NPs was significantly broader compared to the Ct-NPs. According to the Scherrer formula, a wider half peak width suggests smaller particle size, which is beneficial to interfacial interactions due to the larger specific surface area.…”
