Goethite/montmorillonite adsorption coupled with electrocoagulation for improving fluoride removal from aqueous solutions

Abstract: A new material GMS is produced as electrodes in the electrocoagulation (EC) process for F− removing from aqueous environments. The removal rate reaches 99.47% through the EC/GMS. Adsorption and co-precipitation are the main F− removal pathways.
