“…It is advised to expand work on GEP, GPI, and ECCB toward other developing nations within SMEs (Dangelico et al, 2017; H. Wang & Bernell, 2013). Firms must incorporate green capabilities by pursuing green environmental manufacturing practices to appeal green consumers to achieve a competitive edge, customer loyalty, and green image (Deif, 2011; Follows & Jobber, 2000; Ghazali et al, 2017; Kahraman & Kazançoğlu, 2019; Pampanelli et al, 2014; Rehman et al, 2016; Singh et al, 2019; Xie, Zhu, & Wang, 2019). Based on the above discussion and theoretical support, this study sought to add a shred of empirical evidence by revealing the relationships among GMP, GPI, and ECCB with the following hypotheses.H1 : GMP is positively correlated with ECCB. H2 : GMP is positively correlated with GPI. H3 : GPI is positively correlated with ECCB. H4 : GPI mediates the relationships between GMP and ECCB.…”

“…This by-product is normally incinerated or dumped without control, which results in the production of large amounts of waste and pollution [2]. Several researchers have focused on different alternatives for using almond shell wastes based on their potential uses as biomass to produce renewable energy [3]; as a source of organic biopesticides [4], heavy metal adsorbents [5], dye adsorbents [6], growing media [7], the preparation of activated carbons [8] and xylo-oligosaccharides [9], antioxidants [10] or as additives in eco-friendly composites [11][12][13].…”

“…To increase the separation efficiency, NF technology is incorporated into the conventional downstream processing for purification of XOS. XOS recovery of 74.5% was achieved by using a combination of UF (50 kDa) and NF (1 kDa) [60]. To increase the XOS recovery, another NF membrane (500 Da) was used to achieve a high recovery of 95% and purity of 99% at operating pressure of 20 bar and temperature of 50°C [61].…”
