Green Synthesis of Mg0.99 Zn0.01O Nanoparticles for the Fabrication of κ-Carrageenan/NaCMC Hydrogel in order to Deliver Catechin

Abstract: Currently, the role of the nanoparticles in the structure of the composites and their benefits for the health of the body is valuable. In this study, the effects of the doping on the structural and morphological properties of the hydrogels using a Mg co-doped ZnO hydrogel, which has been fabricated by the sol-gel process, have been investigated. Then, a hydrogel containing nanoparticle and a hydrogel without any nanoparticles was produced as a control. The hydrogels were loaded with catechin and the related ch… Show more

“…Many of the compounds presented certain biological activities. For example, research reported the α-glucosidase inhibitory activity and radical scavenging activity of catechin [ 27 ]. Daphuribirin D belongs to bifuranocoumarins, which has demonstrated wide-ranging bioactivities, inclusive of analgesic, anticoagulant anti-HIV, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antineoplastic, antioxidant, and immunomodulatory effects, due to its structural diversity [ 28 ].…”

“…The sensitivity of a hydrogel sensor (0-0.9 kPa) has a linear relationship from room temperature to body temperature. The temperature dependency of the sensor reveals a steady shift around 28 • C. Before the VPTT, the temperature might also enhance the skin-like sensor design for future artificial intelligence, wearable devices, and applications of man/machine interface [321]. Due to its promising electrical qualities, lightweight and tunable mechanical features, conductor polymer-composites (CPNs) are an essential class of functional elements in electronics.…”

“…Carrageenan is presented as a gold candidate in pharmaceutical and biotechnological applications because of its biocompatibility, high viscosity, and gelling capacity, and the ability for its controlled release of drugs [ 9 , 34 , 116 ]. However, the fast degeneration and quick swelling of carrageenan cause the fast release of drugs with less effectivity [ 117 ].…”
