“…In this background, our group has recently reported catalytic Pickering emulsions based on CD NPs for the oxidation of alkenes, organosulfurs, and alcohols using [Na] 3 [PW 12 O 40 ] . These reaction media were classified as Pickering assisted catalysis (PAC), as the catalyst was supposed to lie in the aqueous phase contrary to the Pickering catalytic systems based on self‐assembled POM catalytic NPs, which allow a “Pickering interfacial catalysis” (PIC) . However, in similar conditions, the PAC system exhibits a greater efficacy than the PIC one (e.g., we reported TOF 0 of 236 and 35 h −1 for the epoxidation of cyclohexene with PAC and PIC systems, respectively), which, in addition, requires an acidic co‐catalyst (i.e., H 2 PO 4 − ) .…”
