Hardness of low-alloy steel obtained by cold metal transfer in the magnetic field

Abstract: In recent years, the technology of creating metal materials by the Cold Metal Transfer method has been actively developed, which helps to obtain products of various shapes and sizes. The hardness of 9CrMoV-N low-alloy steel obtained by the Cold Metal Transfer method in the field of a permanent magnet was investigated. The magnetic field induction did not change in the entire series of tests and was equal to 200 mT. As a result of the studies, it was found that the hardness of the obtained sample is more than 2… Show more

“…In SLM processing, a controllable intensive laser beam was used to selectively fully melt and solidify the metal powder bed in a layer-by-layer manner according to the scanning strategy provided by the sliced computer aided design (CAD) file. The unique building method and relatively high cooling rate of SLM made it possible to manufacture parts with complex shapes and form unique microstructures to produce excellent mechanical properties, which could not be easily obtained by traditional methods [ 1 , 2 , 3 ].…”

“…С начала ХХ века начали активно проводить исследования в области медных бронз с добавлением алюминия в качестве основного легирующего элемента, что объясняется отличной коррозионной стойкостью, обусловленной образованием плотного и стабильного пассивного слоя Al 2 O 3 . Коррозионная стойкость зависит от количества алюминия в сплаве [1,2].…”
