“…By decreasing moral disengagement (Brendel & Hankerson, 2021 ; Wan et al, 2020 ), mindfulness induces greater ethical behavior, among which less cheating (Ruedy & Schweitzer, 2010 ), less destructive deviant employees behavior (Wan et al, 2020 ), reduced ostracism (Christensen-Salem et al, 2021 ), social loafing (Mihelič & Culiberg, 2019 ) and increased intention to behave ethically (Kalafatoğlu & Turgut, 2017 ). Minimizing these negative relational characteristics may in effect enhance the psychosocial work environment and hence improve the mental well-being of employees and managers.…”

“…In these conditions, the increasing prevalence of the phenomena of "moral disengagement" has substantial social significance. Chugh et al 's (2014) "withstanding moral disengagement" is not only alarming but ominous as social behavior (McCreary, 2012) and evil for society (Brendel and Hankerson, 2022). Psychologists are concerned about business ethics in parallel with that phenomenon (Schaefer and Bouwmeester, 2020), and sociologists are concerned about behavior in the workplace organizational practices for social justice (Rashkova et al, 2023).…”
