Hemangiopericytoma of the central nervous system: a case report

Abstract: Hemangiopericytomas or solitary meningeal fibrous tumors are extremely rare mesenchymal tumors. They represent only 1.6% of all central nervous system tumors, occurring mainly in adults between 40 and 50 years of age with a slight male predominance.
