“…With the increase in the pH value, the oxidation peak potential had a negative shift, indicating that protons were involved in the electrode reaction . As shown in Figure b, the peak oxidation current of DA reaches its maximum value at pH 7.0, which may be due to the fact that low and high pH values affect the conjugate effect between Ni-BTC@Ni 3 S 4 and DA, resulting in reduced sensitivity . Accordingly, pH 7.0 was the ideal value for subsequent analyses.…”

“…56 As shown in Figure 12b, the peak oxidation current of DA reaches its maximum value at pH 7.0, which may be due to the fact that low and high pH values affect the conjugate effect between Ni-BTC@Ni 3 S 4 and DA, resulting in reduced sensitivity. 57 Accordingly, pH 7.0 was the ideal value for subsequent analyses. In addition, the linear relationship between peak potential E p and pH is shown in Figure 12c, and the linear equation is as follows The slope of this line is −0.0557 V/pH, which is very close to the theoretical value (−0.059 V/pH), indicating that the number of protons and electrons transferred in the electrochemical oxidation process is equal.…”

“…Small molecules like dopamine, which is a neurotransmitter in the human body, have been detected by MOFs using electrochemical methods. 59 a Dopamine is directly involved in the central nervous system of the human body. 59 b So, any abnormal amount of dopamine in the human body causes cognitive disorders, like Parkinson’s disease, or neurological diseases, like schizophrenia, etc.…”
