Heparinassoziierte Thrombocytopenie (HAT) Typ II Eine unterschätzte Komplikation der Thromboembolieprophylaxe mit Heparin

Abstract: We report four patients who developed heparin-associated thrombocytopenia (HAT) under heparin prophylaxis. One patient showed no clinical signs, but three had severe complications (white-clot syndrome, acute adrenal failure and loss of limb because of thromboembolic complication), leading to death in two cases.
