“…A recent systematic review with network meta-analysis, showed very little solid evidence of herbal medicine versus placebo for common cold, with only P. sidoides and Andrographis paniculata showing a reliable decrease of symptoms. Better results were found for herbal medicine versus placebo concerning health related quality of life (HRQoL) (in particular Spicae aetheroleum ) and for symptoms (Cineole and P. sidoides ) ( Hoang et al, 2023 ).
