Abstract:Cardiovascular diseases are currently the leading cause of death in industrialized countries and include a broad range of diseases, including hypertension, hyperlipidemia, thromboembolism, coronary heart disease, heart failure, endocarditis, stroke, peripheral vascular disease and many other conditions.
