“…Its specific capacitance is ≈580.0 F g −1 at the current density of 1 A g −1 , much lower than that of Ni‐Co‐12. Figure S9 (Supporting Information) shows a comparison of the specific capacitance of Ni‐Co‐12 aerogel with those of other materials previously reported . Obviously, our results are much better than those reported by others.…”

“…This strong peak is caused by the decomposition of the precursors to NiCo 2 O 4 NPs and removal of organic components, and thereafter, the TG curve becomes stable with negligible weight loss when it goes beyond 600 °C, which is a result of to the partial decomposition of NiCo 2 O 4 material to NiO. 34 Therefore, we chose to anneal the sample at 550 °C for 5 h. Now, the XRD pattern of this annealed sample is found to be best matched with the standard powder XRD pattern of cubic spinel NiCo 2 O 4 (JCPDS#73−1702, a = 8.1138 Å) (Figure 1a). 35 No additional peaks or phases are observed in the diffraction pattern, indicating that the synthesized NiCo 2 O 4 NPs are in a pure phase.…”

“…For NCO, the peaks at 192 and 514 cm −1 correspond to F 2g whereas 461, 654, and 1031 cm −1 signify the presence of E g , A 1g , and 2LO modes for NiCo 2 O 4 . [ 64 ] In the case of CPNP@NC, CPNP@NC_NCO, and CPNP@NC_NCO/300, defect (D) and graphitic (G) band for carbon are observed. The ratio of the defect and graphitic band intensity ( I D / I G ) was evaluated to be 0.89, 1.04, and 0.91 for CPNP@NC, CPNP@NC_NCO, and CPNP@NC_NCO/300.…”
